Totó ST, Elenco Da Paz and Souñou Yon take the stage for Africa Night in the public square, Plaza del Pilar (Guanarteme)
Las Palmas de Gran Canaria starts off its own particular marathon of concerts with Africa Night, this Friday 7 July, at 20.30 hours, in the public square – Plaza del Pilar de Guanarteme (free entrance). There will be performances by a group which is now based in Gran Canaria, Souñou Yon (Nuestro Camino/Our Path), and two groups from Angola, Totó ST & Elenco Da Paz, selected winners at the annual music contest Vis a Vis, which was held this year in Luanda. This concert will also serve to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the existence of ‘Casa Africa’, one of the festival’s sponsors.
