Yul Ballesteros Trio
The new album by Yul Ballesteros, Alma, clearly shows the personal and musical evolution of this magnificent guitarist & composer. A work that is cemented on personal growth and musical maturity which he has been acquiring over the years, and is seen reflected in compositions based on experience, where the music takes us on a journey through life’s most intense feelings.
For this musical trip Yul Ballesteros partners two amazing musicians, with whom he has shared the stage countless times, and to explore those feelings and making them sound becomes very simple, thanks to the high degree of communication on and off stage. They are Tana Santana (double bass) & Akior García (drums), completeing the trio whose main characteristic is the sound of the grouping as a single entity, just one instrument. An elegant album, delicate and full of nuances, where the listener will be able to enjoy endless emotion and music for the soul (Alma).
