With a 25-year track record of uninterrupted success across the globe, the powerful band Zuco 103 celebrates a quarter of a century on the stage while maintaining the creative spark, overwhelming energy & experimental spirit intact that made them the icon of jazz fusion and pioneers of the sound known as Brazilectro.
From the very outset, when Lilian Vieira (vocals/lyrics), Stefan Schmid (keyboards/production) & Stefan Kruger (drums/production) got together in the early ‘90s, the band has defied genres and expectations, fusing Brazilian sounds with jazz, electronics, funk & dub in a unique and unmistakable style.
From their debut album Outro Lado (1999), to the present day, Zuco 103 have taken their music to venues all over the world, ranging from Fuji Rock in Japan to the North Sea Jazz Festival, without ever losing passion or the ability to surprise, for which it has received recognition on the global music scene, especially in the genres of jazz fusion, electronics and world music.
