From the quality and enthusiasm with which the idea was projected and conceived, now comes the care and dedication to present it live. 'Projeto Brasileiro' is one of the great musical productions of the last decade and the time has come to pierce the veil of digital to be able to enjoy it on stage.
The ‘Projeto Brasileiro’ is born from the love, respect and passion Tomás LP Cruz has for the culture & music of Brazil. And so, in 2011, after almost two years work, a CD with eleven songs (accompanied by a documentary) featuring the participation of more than 40 artists, as renowned as Milton Nascimento, Joyce, Danilo Caymni & Roberto Menescal among others, saw the light of day. From the year 2018, its creator & ideologist takes up the ambitious challenge to present this project on stage for the first time. For this, Tomás LP Cruz has rounded up a series of Canarian artists of a high musical level, who have a special feeling for Brazilian music: Rebeca Mora (vocals & chorus), José Alberto Medina (keyboard), Jonay Mesa (guitars), Luis Suárez (percussion & samplers) & Amilcar Mendoza (drums).
